LU team visits Lankan varsities

Lucknow: A delegation from Lucknow University led by vice chancellor Alok Kumar Rai visited the University of Colombo and University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka on Monday to boost academic and cultural ties.

The visit, part of the initiative 'Dakshinapath: Samvaad evam Samanvay', focused on exploring opportunities for joint research, dual degree programmes and cultural exchange s. "The meetings underscore the Lucknow University's commitment to expanding its international footprint and engaging in meaningful collaborations that enhance academic and cultural exchange. By forging partnerships with esteemed institutions in Sri Lanka, the university aims to create opportunities for students, faculty and researchers to engage in joint projects," said Vice Chancellor, Alok Kumar Rai, in a statement.
