Four Jain saints to be in city for grand religious event

Nagpur: Four prominent disciples of Pattacharyashree Vishuddhasagar Gurudev will be in the city for a grand Jain spiritual programme. This major Jain religious programme will take place at Shri 1008 Parshvaprabhu Digambar Jain Mothe Temple, Bapurao Gali, Itwari, from July 9 to 11.

The saints attending include Munishree Prashamsagar Gurudev, Munishree Suprabhsagar Gurudev, Munishree Pranatsagar Gurudev, and Kshullak Viprajnyasagar Gurudev, all known for their deep scholarship, spiritual discipline, and dedication to Jain dharma. The saints will come to the city on Monday.

The three-day event begins on July 9 with Pavsayog Kalash Sthapana, followed by Guru Purnima Mahaparv on July 10, and concludes with Veer Shasan Jayanti Parv on July 11. Each day will feature Abhishek, Shanti Vidhan, Nirvan Puja, pravachan, samayik, and special evening aartis.

Organised by Shri 1008 Ajitnath Digambar Jain Mandir Trust, Pt Bachchraj Vyas Chowk, Mahal, in association with Shri 1008 Parshvaprabhu Digambar Jain Khandelwal Mandir Trust, Itwari, the event promises to be a milestone in the city's spiritual calendar.
