MD of pharma distribution co dies by suicide
Vijayawada: Narasimha Murthy Raju, the managing director of a private pharmacy, died by suicide at Kshatriya Bhavan in Ayodhya Nagar locality of Vijayawada on Saturday. According to Ajith Singh Nagar police, Raju was previously involved in a murder case. He was accused of killing his close friend last year and was out on bail in connection with the case. His sudden and unexpected death has raised many questions, as police continue to investigate the exact circumstances and possible triggers behind the extreme step.
Raju had built a substantial pharmaceutical distribution network with operations extending across both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He left behind a suicide note, in which he reportedly cited mounting debts as the primary reason for his drastic decision. The note allegedly explained that the financial burden had become unbearable, leaving him with no option other than ending his life. Police have registered a case and shifted his body to a local hospital for postmortem. They are probing from all angles to ascertain if any additional factors led to his death.
