The Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi, has released the official schedule for the second cycle of online admissions for classes Nursery to XII in government and government-aided special schools for the current academic session. As per a circular issued on Thursday, the online registration process will commence on June 20 at 5:00 PM and will remain open until July 5 at 5:00 PM. The application form will be made available on the department’s official website.

This admission cycle applies exclusively to students seeking admission in special schools run or supported by the Delhi government. Parents and guardians are advised to check the class-wise vacancy list before filling out the application form to ensure they are applying for classes where seats are available.
Delhi govt school online admissions 2025: Key dates and procedure for document verificationFollowing the completion of the registration process, document verification will be conducted at the respective government or aided special schools. Parents must visit the schools between July 7 and July 10 during regular school hours to submit the necessary documents for verification.

The required documents typically include the child’s birth certificate, residence proof, previous school records (if applicable), and any relevant medical or disability certificates for special school admissions. Specific document requirements may vary by school.

Delhi govt school online admissions 2025: Draw of lots and result declarationIn cases where the number of eligible applications exceeds the number of available seats, a draw of lots will be held at the concerned school level. This draw is scheduled for July 11 at 11:00 AM and will be conducted in the presence of school management representatives and parents to maintain transparency.

Post the draw, the heads of schools are required to submit the list of selected candidates to the Inclusive Education Branch (IEB) by July 14. The final selection list will be uploaded on the Directorate of Education’s website on July 16.
