The Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test ( MTET ) 2025 results have been declared by the Directorate of Educational Research and Training (DERT), Meghalaya, on June 16, 2025. The exam was held on April 25 for both Lower Primary (Paper-I) and Upper Primary (Paper-II) levels. Candidates who appeared for the test can now check their results on the official website — megeducation.gov.in.

MTET 2025 Qualifying MarksThe minimum qualifying marks as per NCTE guidelines are:

• General Category: 60% (90 out of 150)
  
• SC/ST/OBC/DA: 55% (82.5 out of 150)

Only those meeting or exceeding the cut-off will receive the MTET eligibility certificate.
What after qualifying MTET?Candidates who have qualified MTET 2025 will receive an eligibility certificate valid for lifetime, as per the latest NCTE rule. This certificate is a prerequisite for applying to:
