SSC CHSL registration 2025 closes tomorrow: Check direct link to apply, required documents here

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is closing the online application window for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025 exam on July 18, 2025. This annual recruitment drive opens doors to 3,131 vacancies in central government departments, offering positions like Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Postal/Sorting Assistant.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 and meet the eligibility criteria still have a short window to apply via ssc.gov.in. The Tier-I exam is scheduled between September 8–18, and selected candidates will join various ministries and departments under the Government of India.
Number of vacancies and postsA total of 3,131 Group C posts are on offer across various ministries and departments. These include:

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
  
• Postal Assistant (PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA)
  
• Data Entry Operator (DEO), including Grade “A” roles

Documents required for applicationApplicants have to submit the following documents for SSC CHSL registration:

• Recent passport-size photograph (20 KB to 50 KB, JPEG format)
  
• Signature (10 KB to 20 KB, JPEG format)
  
• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
  
• Valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.)
  
• Caste or category certificate (if applicable)

Click on “Register Now” for One-Time Registration (OTR) or log in if already registered.

Fill out the application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.

Upload scanned copies of the required photograph and signature.

Pay the fee (if applicable) and submit the form.

Download and save a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
