Janhvi Kapoor supports Varun Dhawan’s appeal for privacy after Shefali Jariwala’s demise: 'Finally someone said it'

Shefali Jariwala ’s sudden demise has left the Bollywood and TV world in shock. The 42-year-old actress and model, famous for ‘ Kaanta Laga ’ and ‘Bigg Boss 13’, passed away at her home in Mumbai’s Oshiwara on Friday. The news has left her family, friends and fans heartbroken.


Amid this grief, Varun Dhawan made a heartfelt plea asking for more sensitivity, and now his ‘Bawaal’ co-star Janhvi Kapoor also stood by him, strongly supporting his call for privacy during such painful times.

Varun speaks up for grieving families
On Sunday, Varun took to Instagram to urge the paparazzi to be more sensitive when covering the demise of a celebrity.


He wrote, “Again, one more passing of a soul being insensitively covered by the media. I just don't understand why do u have to cover someone's grief. Everyone looks so uncomfortable with this. How is this benefiting anyone? & my request to my friends in the media, this isn't the way someone would want their final journey covered.” Though Varun didn’t mention any names, his post came soon after news broke of Shefali Jariwala’s demise

Janhvi Kapoor wasted no time in showing her support. She shared Varun’s post on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Finally someone said it”. With just a few words, Janhvi made it clear that she completely agreed with Varun’s message.
