Apurva Chauhan makes her mark with 'Golden Moment of the Day' at Times Fresh Face

Apurva Chauhan, a dynamic blend of elegance, intellect, and stage presence, has carved a special place for herself in the national spotlight by winning the coveted ‘Golden Moment of the Day’ award at the Times Fresh Face Season 16 national finale. Representing Uttar Pradesh, Apurva was the title winner from Lucknow and went on to shine in the Mumbai finale with a performance that captivated both the audience and the panel of celebrity judges.

Held in Mumbai, the grand finale witnessed Apurva performing in front of celebrated personalities including Abhishek Banerjee, Dabboo Ratnani, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and esteemed officials from Times Fresh Face. Her confident delivery and extraordinary stage charisma earned her not only applause but also the highest recognition of the evening — ‘Golden Moment of the Day’.

Speaking about her journey, Apurva Chauhan shared: “Times Fresh Face is not a competition that’s just about how far you go or what title you win — it’s about how your talent connects with the judges and touches the hearts of the audience. Currently holding the prestigious title of Miss International Diva India 2025, Apurva is also an accomplished opera and pop singer. She has been associated with the Royal Academy of Music and Arts and holds a diploma from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, UK. Apurva is also the first opera singer to make it to the national finals in the 16-year history of Times Fresh Face
, breaking new ground with her unique artistry.

A graduate of Wellesley College in Physics and Computer Science, Apurva has conducted advanced research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is a recipient of the Excellence in Physics award. She is also an alumna of MIT’s prestigious Gordon Engineering Leadership (GEL) programme and a former president of Robogals, where she championed STEM careers for girls.

Having previously walked the runway at India Style Fashion Week and opened a designer show at International Runway Week, Apurva Chauhan brings a powerful combination of poise, passion, and purpose. A trained vocalist, she honed her craft at Berklee College of Music’s India Exchange and has performed with the India National Youth Orchestra and Chorus. Her dynamic presence continues to inspire audiences through standout performances across both India and the United States.
