From Ekadashi to Dwadashi Tithi, devotees follow a rigorous fast, which they break during Parana Time. Every year, there are twenty-four Ekadashi observances. On July 6, 2025, Devshayani Ekadashi will be celebrated on Ekadashi Tithi or 11th day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadha.

Devshayani Ekadashi 2025: Significance
According to Hindu Scriptures, Ekadashi holds a great religious and spiritual importance. Devotees of Vaishnavas and Iskon keep a rigorous fast and worship to Lord Vishnu on this auspicious day. This is the particular day, which is dedicated to worship Lord Vishnu. Dev shayani Ekadashi means, when Lord Vishnu will spend four months in Ksheer Sagar, the milky ocean ansd that four months period is also known as Chaturmas. This month, Dev Shayani Ekadashi will be observed on Shukla Paksha Ekadashi Tithi.

Devshayani Ekadashi 2025: Puja Rituals
Get up early in the morning and take a holy bath, but be careful not to use body wash or soap because there are some restrictions to observe on Ekadashi day. Place an idol of Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna, or Laddoo Gopal Ji on a wooden plank after cleaning your home and puja room, and then light a diya with desi ghee. Offer Lord Vishnu with yellow flowers, Tulsi Patra, and recite vedic mantras and Vishnu Sahasranama. Take a sankalp of observings this fast with pure intentions and by following proper sattvik lifestyle. On Dwadashi Tithi, the following day, devotees should break their fast during Parana Time.
