Kalashtami 2025: Puja Rituals
- Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath before commencing puja rites.
- Take a wooden plank where you can place Shiva Parivaar and if you have image of Kaal Bhairav then you can keep it there or Natraj form.
- Light a diya with desi ghee and and recite shiva chalisa, kaal bhairav ashtakam .
- Chant shiva mantras to invoke the idol and seek blessings.
- In the evening, you must go to the temple where you can light a mustard oil diya in front of Kaal Bhairav idol and offer Meetha Rot, which is made up of wheat flour and jaggery or you can prepare sweet poode.
- Perform Rudrabhishekam to shivalingam with panchamrit.
