Ernest Jones IV misses out on $1.9M Los Angeles home after relocation to Seattle Seahawks
After a wild whirlwind of trades during 2024, Ernest Jones IV is officially departing California. The linebacker, newly signed with the Seattle Seahawks, sold his Chatsworth, Los Angeles, luxury residence for $1.77 million on May 19—a financial retreat from the $1.9 million that he and his wife, Tyra Jones, purchased it for mere months prior.
Ernest Jones purchased the 3,954-square-foot residence with dreams of settling down while he was staying put with the Los Angeles Rams, but that did not happen. One month later, the NFL player was traded to the Tennessee Titans, and soon he was off to Seattle for the next adventure of his life.

“We had an outstanding experience working with Rod, Laura, and Renecia," he said. “They sold our home in eight days for the full asking price, and from start to finish, their service was exceptional. They are incredibly knowledgeable and attentive and made sure we were thoroughly updated at every stage of the process. We always felt informed and supported, and their expertise made a potentially stressful experience smooth and efficient.”
Inside the two-level home, there are five bedrooms and six bathrooms. With luxurious amenities such as a resort-style pool, three-car garage, mountain views, open floor plan with gourmet kitchen, formal dining, expansive game room, and opulent primary suite with soaking tub and glass shower. The home was represented for sale by celebrity real estate agents Rod, Laura, and Renecia Watson, who, as reported, sold the property in eight days.

Though California home sales were in deficit, the move reflects a more intense commitment to stability—career, family, and beyond—with the Seattle Seahawks.
