In an earlier post, Sydel expressed how different this experience feels, knowing that Dacen is their final child. “2 weeks with Baby Dacen🩵 It’s actually unreal how big of a difference the newborn stage is when you know it’s your last. You’re more present. You notice every oz of weight they gain. So bittersweet watching each of my babies grow but I’m so appreciative of every second of it!” she wrote alongside a carousel of tender moments with her newborn.

Sydel had initially shared the news of Dacen’s birth on May 24 via Instagram, posting a soft video of her son in a cream sweater embroidered with his name. “Complete,” she captioned the clip. “Dacen Lee made his beautiful arrival 5/20/2025 🩵 Feeling extremely blessed to be able to finally hold this miracle baby boy. Cherishing these sleepless nights and newborn bubble!”

The proud mom also got real about her birthing experience. “In between contractions, I looked at Damion like, ‘Never again,’” she revealed, confirming that her third child would be their last. She gave birth unmedicated and openly shared her emotions in the aftermath.

“I’m literally so happy that he’s here. I’m happy to not be pregnant anymore,” she said. “I feel like this time around… when you go into the newborn stage and you know that it’s your last kid for a fact, it just hits different. So we’ve definitely been cherishing these short days that he’s been with us.”
