At 57, Arbaaz Khan set to embrace fatherhood again

Mumbai: Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, 57, has confirmed that his wife Sshura Khan, 35, is expecting their first child together.

In an interview with ETimes, Arbaaz described the news as “exciting” and shared his commitment to being a hands-on father once again.

The couple, who married in a private nikah ceremony in December 2023, had been the subject of pregnancy rumours since early 2024. Public appearances and a viral video from June 5, showing Sshura with a visible baby bump, further fuelled speculation.

“Yes, it is there. I’m not denying it,” Arbaaz told ETimes, adding that while he feels nervous stepping into fatherhood again after many years, he is looking forward to the experience. Arbaaz has a 22-year-old son, Arhaan, from his previous marriage to actress Malaika Arora.

Fans and fellow celebrities have flooded social media with congratulatory messages. While some netizens discussed the couple’s 22-year age gap, the overall response has been positive.

Sshura, a professional makeup artist, met Arbaaz during the filming of Patna Shuklla. The couple dated for over a year before marrying. They have largely kept their relationship private, with Arbaaz recently asking paparazzi to respect their personal space.

The couple has not disclosed the expected due date, requesting privacy as they prepare to welcome their child.
