Tie-breaking criteria

In case two or more candidates secured the same marks, NTA applied its standard tie-breaking rules — starting from marks in Biology, followed by Chemistry, Physics, number of incorrect answers, and finally, the candidate’s age.

The final answer key was released earlier this morning. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scores by logging in with their credentials on the official websites — neet.nta.nic.in, nta.ac.in, and exams.nta.ac.in/NEET-UG. The results are also accessible through DigiLocker and UMANG app.

No re-evaluation allowed

NTA has clarified that there is no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of NEET UG answer sheets. Since the answer scripts are machine-readable OMR sheets, the evaluation process is fully automated and impartial. Candidates were given a prior opportunity to raise objections on the answer key.
