AAP MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap expelled from party for questioning vigilance action against Majithia

PTC News Desk: The Aam Admi Party has expelled Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh from the party for 5 years. A sitting MLA from Amritsar North and former IPS officer, Kunwar Vijay Prat has faced expulsion following his dissent over vigilance action against senior SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia. 


The party's political affairs committee took the decision in the backdrop of anti-party activities by Singh. 


Earlier, AAP MLA had raised voice against his own party over Vigilance's action and subsequent arrest of Bikram Singh Majithia in alleged disproportionate asset case. He shared a video of the vigilance team engaging in argument with Majithia's wife who is also a sitting MLA from  on public platforms and termed the government's action as inappropriate.

A well known IPS officer and former Punjab IG, Kunwar Vijay Pratap garnered the spotlight after he exposed the infamous kidney scam in the state.
