Centre Point School-Katol Road holds workshop for educators, opens cricket pitch
Nagpur: Eucators from Centre Point School, Katol Road, (CPS-KR) participated in an enriching workshop titled ‘Experience the Magic of Rhythmic Play with Esin & Ediz Toksoy (Turkey)', held at Chhaoni campus. The internationally renowned educators introduced innovative, hands-on techniques that use the universal language of rhythm and music to enhance focus, creativity, cognitive development and motor skills in young children. The activities were not only engaging and fun but also designed to support learning through improved coordination and both, fine and gross motor development.
Inspired by this experience, an in-house workshop was conducted on June 20 for all teachers of Class 1, 2 and 3, including faculty from the Music, Art, and Sports departments. This session was led by the trained team of teachers. Director-principal Shilpee Ganguly addressed the gathering and hoped the workshop will create a space for collaborative learning and exchange of ideas.
Meanwhile, CPS-KR opened a brand-new cricket pitch for budding cricketers of the school. Former India cricketer Prashant Vaidya was the chief guest. Collector Dr Vipin Itankar, director-principal Shilpee Ganguly, vice-principal Delnaaz Kapoor were also present. Mangesh Pandit, ex-cricket coach and Rajendra Soman, former chief accountant were honoured for their unwavering support and service to the institution.
