HYDERABAD: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Friday said that party president and former chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was taken to a city private hospital on Thursday evening for standard medical examinations. He said the hospitalisation was a preventive measure and there was no cause for public concern.

Following public speculation, KTR said that his father's hospital admission was based on medical advice to monitor his diabetes and low sodium levels. " No serious health concerns at all," he said.
