Man attacked in a fight over parked vehicle at Sanquelim
Bicholim: Bicholim police on Saturday arrested Yogesh Rane , 27, a resident of Vithalapur, Bicholim, for seriously injuring Aniket Singbal , 27, from Sanquelim with a sharp weapon. The attack took place near a restaurant in Poriem in the vicinity of Goa Institute of Management (GIM) late on Friday night over a scuffle on the issue of a vehicle parked on the road by the accused.
Bicholim PI Vijay Rane Sardesai said during night patrolling on Friday, they were informed about a youth lying injured near the GIM campus. Rane, along with his team, rushed to the spot and shifted the injured man to the community health centre, Sanquelim. The police apprehended the accused within 30 minutes of the incident.
