Rotary Club of Nagpur North installs new board for 2025-26

Nagpur: The Rotary Club of Nagpur North (RCNN) oragnised its 40th installation ceremony with Adv Vinay Dara with Swapnil Band aassuming charge as president and secretary respectively for 2025-26 term. District Governor Dnyaneshwar Shewale (RI District 3030) was chief guest while assistant governor Parag Ghubade was guest of honour. Swapnil Band, Parag Ghubade, DG Dnyaneshwar Shewale, Vinay Dara, Manisha Manghani, Raju Manghani, Simran Dara, Dr Aliakbbar Maimun shared the dais.

DG Shewale lauded the club's tremendous achievements under all avenues of service in the preceding year and expressed his confidence in the new team achieving even greater heights under Rotary International's new global theme ‘Unite for Good', urging members to lead with compassion and collaboration. The highlight of the programme was the DG waiting till midnight to cut a cake as mark of his taking over as the district governor of Rotary District 3030 on July 1 at this club's installation.

President Vinay Dara who was earlier introduced by Nidhi Rughwani, expresses his gratitude for the confidence the club had reposed in him to lead this legendary club and outlined his vision focussed on global & District goals of Rotary.

The other governing body members who took charge are: Prakash Khemchandani (club trainer), Manisha Manghani (IPP), Nand Tahilyani (president-elect), Pankajh Upadhyay (vice-president), Sumit Choithani (treasurer), Nitin Jeswani (joint treasurer), Ashish Pedhekar (sergeant-at-arms), and directors Shyam Wadhwani, Anil Nagwani, Girish Kotwani, Kamlesh Tejwani, Disha Pathak, Dr Depesh Bhartia, Khushboo Murarka, Himlal Pun and Sakshi Pedhekar. The co-opted members include: Vishal Asnani, Rakhee Upadhyay, Dr Umesh Ramtani, Ankush Dewani, Rajesh Chawla and Ashita Reuben.

PP Kamlesh Chotwani was the installation chair. Gayathri Band and Baljeet Kaur Anand conducted the proceedings while Band spoke about upcoming projects and proposed a vote of thanks.
