Telangana factory blast: CM Revanth Reddy appoints panel to probe accident

HYDERABAD: CM A Revanth Reddy on Monday appointed a five-member high-level committee headed by chief secretary K Ramakrishna Rao to probe the accident in the chemical factory at Pashamylaram , underlying causes and submit a report to the govt on prevention of such accidents in future.

The panel comprises the chief secretary, disaster management spl chief secretary, labour & health departments principal secretaries and additional DG of fire services.

The CM will meet the families of victims on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, BRS leader Harish Rao condoled the deaths. He sought ex gratia of Rs 1 crore for the kin of the deceased and Rs 50 lakh to those critically injured.
