Telangana HC orders disposal of ex-SBI employee dispute
HYDERABAD: The Telangana high court on Tuesday directed the central govt industrial tribunal-cum-labour court in Hyderabad to expeditiously adjudicate and dispose of an industrial dispute pending since 2002, involving a former employee of the State Bank of India.
Justice Surepalli Nanda issued the direction while hearing a petition filed by Komdamudi Chandrasekhar Rao , who had served at the SBI Ponnur branch in Guntur, AP, before his services were terminated.
Rao informed the court that the legality of his termination had been under challenge before the tribunal for over two decades and remained unresolved despite a prior high court order issued in June 2014, which had called for appropriate action.
