UDF not worried: Kunhalikutty on Mamkootathil issue

Kozhikode: Reacting to the suspension of Rahul Mamkootathil , Muslim League leader P K Kunhalikutty said Congress took a timely and appropriate decision.

Kunhalikutty told reporters that UDF had no fear of a byelection, saying that the front won every byelection (since the LDF govt retained power in 2021).

"UDF is not something that collapses with a sneeze. The Congress will handle Mamkootathil the issue in a manner it deems appropriate and we have no concerns about it," Kunhalikutty said.

Kunhalikutty said that the issue was not one concerning the League's satisfaction, nor was there any need to hold discussions with constituent parties.
