TVS Motor Company has rolled out the much-anticipated 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V in India, commemorating two decades of the Apache brand’s legacy. With a series of meaningful enhancements, the updated model is engineered to appeal to modern-day motorcyclists seeking power, style, and advanced functionality in one ride. The new RTR 200 4V features notable mechanical and design upgrades, promising an improved street-sport biking experience. From its refined front suspension and aesthetic tweaks to smart tech integration, this refreshed model stands ready to continue Apache’s reputation for racetrack-inspired dynamics and urban agility.

Mechanical Upgrades: Suspension and Control

One of the major highlights of the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V is the newly introduced 37mm upside down (USD) front forks, a significant leap from the earlier telescopic suspension system. This updated setup is designed to offer more front-end stability, especially under hard braking and during sharp manoeuvres. It significantly boosts rider confidence both on busy city roads and curvy hill stretches.

TVS has also added a hydroformed handlebar — a first for the RTR series — that offers enhanced strength with a lighter profile. The result is a more responsive and precise steering experience, giving riders better control even at higher speeds.

Smarter, Sharper Aesthetics

In keeping with contemporary design trends, the 2025 version features a striking new visual identity. The bold red-finished alloy wheels immediately stand out and are perfectly complemented by refreshed body graphics. The motorcycle is now available in three colour options: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey — each bringing a distinct character to the bike.

These cosmetic enhancements not only elevate its visual appeal but also align with Apache’s image as a youthful and aggressive street machine.

Engine and Ride Performance

Under the skin, the Apache RTR 200 4V continues to draw power from its 197.75cc oil-cooled engine, now compliant with the latest OBD2B norms. The engine delivers a healthy 20.8 PS at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 17.25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The performance output remains strong, offering the right mix of punchy acceleration and refined cruising.

The motorcycle is tuned for multiple riding scenarios with its three preset ride modes — Urban, Sport, and Rain. Urban mode smoothens throttle response for traffic-heavy areas, Sport unleashes the bike’s full performance potential, and Rain optimises traction and braking under slippery conditions.

Feature-Loaded for the Modern Rider

TVS continues to prioritise technology in its premium offerings. The 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V is equipped with the brand’s SmartXonnect system, enabling Bluetooth connectivity, voice assistance, and turn-by-turn navigation. It also features a fully digital instrument console that provides real-time riding stats, trip data, call/SMS alerts, and more.

For added safety and convenience, the motorcycle includes a race-tuned slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, and adjustable brake and clutch levers — features typically found in higher-end performance bikes.

Price and Availability

The 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V is priced at ₹1,53,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is now available at TVS dealerships across the country. Given its updated features and premium styling, the pricing places it competitively within the 200cc segment while offering tremendous value to riders seeking everyday performance blended with racetrack DNA.

Celebrating Legacy with Innovation

With its new upgrades, TVS has effectively celebrated 20 years of the Apache brand not just with fanfare but with real substance. The inclusion of performance-focused hardware like USD forks and a hydroformed handlebar, alongside SmartXonnect technology and bold new styling, ensures that the latest Apache RTR 200 4V is ready for both enthusiasts and everyday riders.

Whether navigating tight urban corners or exploring open highways, the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V embodies what modern motorcyclists expect: precision, performance, and a dash of flair.
