Bajaj Auto has rolled out the 2025 Dominar 400 in India, priced at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). While the core remains unchanged, this year’s update brings in a smarter console, enhanced safety features, and improved touring-friendly touches-making it one of the most refined versions of the Dominar to date.

Sleek New Console and Connectivity Features

One of the most noticeable upgrades is the fully digital color LCD console, borrowed from the Pulsar NS400Z. The new screen features bonded glass for better clarity, and now comes with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts-a major step up from the basic setup seen in the previous model.

In addition, Bajaj has ditched the secondary tank-mounted display, replacing it with a USB charging port—a far more useful upgrade for riders on long journeys.

Traction Control Added for the First Time

The 2025 Dominar 400 now gets traction control-a first for this model. This system helps maintain stability during aggressive turns or when riding over wet or loose terrain, boosting confidence and rider safety.

Four Riding Modes + Ride-by-Wire

To further improve versatility, Bajaj has introduced four ride modes: Rain, Road, Sport, and Off-Road. Each mode tweaks the bike’s performance settings to match different conditions, giving riders more control over how the machine responds.

Alongside, the bike now features ride-by-wire technology, delivering more precise throttle input. This system replaces the older mechanical throttle and adds a more premium, responsive feel to the ride.

More Comfortable for Long Distances

Bajaj has made subtle ergonomic adjustments to the handlebars for a more relaxed, upright riding stance-ideal for highway cruising. There’s also a new rear luggage rack that comes with a built-in GPS mount, underlining the bike’s touring credentials.

Engine: Same Power, Updated Emission Compliance

Under the tank, the Dominar 400 continues to run the 373.3cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine from the previous model. It delivers a solid 39 hp and 35 Nm of torque, ensuring the same punchy performance Dominar fans love. However, the engine is now tuned to meet the stricter OBD-2B norms, keeping it future-ready.

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 isn’t a ground-up overhaul, but a thoughtful evolution. It retains its strong touring identity while becoming more tech-savvy and safer. For riders looking for a well-balanced motorcycle with modern features and highway comfort, the new Dominar 400 makes a compelling case without breaking the bank.
