Kinetic Green is gearing up to revive a classic with a modern twist. The brand will launch the all-new Kinetic DX electric scooter on July 28, inspired by the iconic two-stroke Kinetic Honda DX that once ruled Indian roads over four decades ago.

This upcoming e-scooter is not just a nod to nostalgia-it’s a serious contender in the modern EV space , going head-to-head with the likes of the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Hero Vida VX2, and Ather Rizta.

The brand has now dropped a teaser, offering a first glimpse into the scooter’s design and features. Expect a sleek silhouette with illuminated Kinetic branding, a horizontal LED headlamp, and a stylish front apron accentuated by a black panel. There’s also a peek at the switchgear, hinting at quirky features like fake exhaust sounds-a playful tribute to the original model's two-stroke buzz.

Spy shots from earlier test runs show the DX sporting a clean, minimalist design that clearly channels its retro roots. On the tech front, Kinetic confirmed that the scooter will be offered with two battery options-1.8 kWh and 3 kWh, enabling a top speed of 80 km/h. A TFT digital display adds a modern, connected touch.

Mechanically, the Kinetic DX will come with a hub-mounted motor, front disc brake, telescopic front fork, and dual rear shock absorbers-promising both urban comfort and competent handling.

With its blend of heritage styling and new-age tech, the Kinetic DX aims to carve out a space in the fast-growing electric scooter segment, while tugging at the heartstrings of old-school scooter lovers.
