KTM India has given its popular 390 Adventure X a feature-loaded upgrade, just months after its launch in February 2025. The refreshed version of the adventure tourer is now priced at ₹3.03 lakh (ex-showroom)-a bump of ₹12,000 over its original price of ₹2.91 lakh. While the bike's look remains unchanged, the real action lies in its enhanced electronics and rider aids.

What’s New?

KTM has significantly elevated the 390 Adventure X's appeal by adding features usually found on bigger, more premium motorcycles. The standout additions include:

  • Cornering ABS for safer braking in turns

  • Cornering Traction Control for better grip and stability

  • Cruise Control to make highway cruising more relaxed

  • Three Riding Modes: Street, Rain, and Off-Road

These modes allow riders to tailor the throttle response and safety systems to suit different terrains and weather conditions. Whether you're zipping through city streets, tackling slippery roads, or exploring trails, the new setup aims to boost confidence and control.

Updated Controls

To manage all these new features, KTM has added new-age switchgear, borrowed from the standard 390 Adventure model. Riders now get a dedicated cruise control button and a toggle switch to adjust speed and switch between riding modes seamlessly-all at your fingertips.

Engine and Performance

Under the tank, nothing changes-and that’s a good thing. The bike continues to be powered by the 399cc single-cylinder LC4c engine, which delivers 45 hp at 8,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. This engine is known for its punchy mid-range and reliability, making it ideal for both daily rides and weekend getaways.

Chassis and Hardware

Mechanically, the bike sticks to its proven platform. It rides on 19-inch alloy wheels at the front and 17-inch at the rear, providing a great balance between road stability and off-road capability. The braking system remains unchanged, offering solid stopping power to match the bike’s performance.

With this update, KTM has made the 390 Adventure X an even more attractive option for adventure seekers. The added tech not only enhances safety and ride quality but also brings the motorcycle closer to its more expensive sibling in terms of features-without a massive price jump.

For riders looking for a well-rounded ADV bike with serious equipment, the new KTM 390 Adventure X strikes a compelling balance between performance, versatility, and value.
