Mahindra is electrifying its EV game by making its powerful 79kWh battery available in the more budget-friendly Pack Two variants of the BE 6 and XEV 9e SUVs. Previously limited to top-tier Pack Three trims, this high-range battery now brings premium performance at a more accessible price.
New Prices, Same Power
The BE 6 Pack Two with the larger 79kWh battery is priced at ₹23.50 lakh, while the XEV 9e version costs ₹26.50 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices don’t include AC chargers—Mahindra offers 7.2 kW and 11.2 kW home units at ₹50,000 and ₹75,000, respectively.
Fast, Powerful, and Ready to Roll
Both SUVs are powered by a single rear-mounted motor delivering 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque. With a 175 kW DC fast charger, the 79kWh battery charges from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes—ideal for those who hate waiting. Even the smaller 59kWh pack holds its own, reaching the same charge level with a 140 kW fast charger.
Go the Extra Mile
The bigger battery significantly boosts range. The BE 6 can travel up to 682 km on a full charge, while the XEV 9e clocks in at 656 km. That’s a serious step up from the 59kWh versions, which offer 556 km and 542 km, respectively.
Features That Impress
Mahindra isn’t skimping on features in these Pack Two variants. Both models sport a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, a panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS. The BE 6 flaunts a sporty, cockpit-like cabin, while the XEV 9e gets a triple-screen dash setup straight out of a sci-fi flick.
