India’s electric vehicle segment has welcomed a significant new entrant. Tesla has officially launched the Model Y SUV, making it its first offering in the country. Alongside the car’s unveiling, Tesla opened a showroom in Mumbai, with another scheduled for New Delhi. The Model Y will compete with established rivals such as the Kia EV6 and BMW iX1.
