VinFast Auto India has joined hands with myTVS, a leading multi-brand automotive service provider, to strengthen its after-sales support across the country. This partnership comes as the Vietnamese EV maker gears up to launch its VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs in India.
As part of the collaboration, 120 Extended Service Workshops will be set up nationwide. These facilities will complement VinFast’s exclusive showrooms and service centres, offering repair, maintenance, and support services tailored to EV owners.
Each myTVS workshop will be fully equipped with genuine VinFast parts, high-end diagnostic tools, and specially trained technicians to handle electric vehicles. Customers will also benefit from a toll-free helpline and dedicated email support for quick assistance.
VinFast isn’t stopping at retail and service. With a planned $2 billion investment, the company is building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. In its first phase, the plant will produce up to 50,000 units annually, with a target to scale up to 1.5 lakh units in the future.
The brand’s larger vision is to build a robust EV ecosystem in India, complete with charging stations, service access, and outreach beyond major cities into smaller towns.
Of the two upcoming models, the VF 7 will be the first to arrive. This stylish five-seater SUV features a modern crossover design and signature V-shaped LED lights. It will be offered in two variants — Eco and Plus. The Eco packs a 204 hp single motor with front-wheel drive, while the Plus comes with dual motors, all-wheel drive, and 354 hp. Both variants will have a 75.3kWh battery, delivering a range of up to 450 km (Eco) and 431 km (Plus).
VinFast’s entry into the Indian market looks set to bring fresh momentum to the EV space, offering both cutting-edge technology and reliable customer support.
