Rakul Preet Singh is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film – 'Pati, Patni Aur Woh Do'. The film's star cast had reached Gir National Park during promotions. A video from the National Park soon surfaced online that showed Rakul walking along side the jeep during what appeared to be a jungle safari.

The video soon started a massive debate on social media with people tagging and questioning Girl National Park management on safety and protocols. Many wondered if Rakul had violated forest safety protocols and some action should have been taken on her. Many even slammed the National Park authorities for giving special treatment to celebrities keeping forest regulations at bay.

Amid all this, the management released a statement. It stated that the area seen in the video is not inside but outside of the safari zone. It clarified that the viral video was shot outside the restricted zone.

What the management said

"We have already issued a clarification regarding this video through our official Twitter handle. We clarified that the video is from outside the entry point of the Sasan Sanctuary. Every sanctuary has a designated entry point for visitors entering the protected area. The viral video was shot outside that point. Therefore, we clarified that the incident did not take place inside the restricted zone," the management said.

It further added that the actress didn't even continue with the safari as she had some medical emergency. "As per the rules, once inside the sanctuary, no one is allowed to step out of their safari vehicle. In the viral visuals, she is seen outside the entry point area, after which she left and returned. RakulPreet Singh had come with her team for a planned sanctuary visit. However, before entering the sanctuary, she experienced a medical issue. Due to this, her team took her back, and she did not enter the sanctuary premises," the official added.
