Delhi bus route dispute spirals: Marshal arrested for biting conductor's finger
NEW DELHI: A bus marshal has been arrested for allegedly biting off a conductor's finger after a dispute over the route to be taken on Sunday evening.
The conductor told police that his left-hand middle finger had got severed.
While marshal Mansingh and the driver wanted to take the electric bus via the Lajpat Nagar Ring Road flyover, the conductor insisted on a parallel road, resulting in the bus getting stuck in a traffic jam.
"A medical examination confirmed that the finger was amputated," said police.
