A shocking incident from Noida has triggered massive public outrage after a viral video exposed a PG owner assaulting a female tenant during a heated argument over her security deposit. The disturbing visuals, reportedly from Raj Homes PG in Sector 62, show just how unsafe tenants can feel inside spaces meant to offer them comfort and protection.
The video, recorded by the woman’s male friend standing outside the building, captures a female PG operator repeatedly slapping and beating the tenant behind closed glass doors. The friend said he was not allowed to enter the premises and could only watch helplessly as the abuse continued.
According to him, the woman had simply arrived to collect her security amount when her phone was taken away, and she was allegedly confined inside the PG. What followed was the violent confrontation now circulating widely on social media.
The viral clip has triggered uproar, with users demanding strict action and questioning the safety of PG accommodations for women. The intensity of the outrage pushed officials to respond.
In an official statement on X, Noida Police said that "In reference to the mentioned case, an FIR has been registered at Police Station Sector 58, and legal action has been taken by the Police Station Sector 58 against the accused party."
"The referenced case pertains to a dispute between the victim and the PG operator regarding vacating the PG, in connection with which the Sector-58 police station is in the process of registering a case upon receiving a written complaint from the victim," the post further read.

Soon after the video gained traction, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner confirmed that a case has been registered at Sector 58 Police Station.In an official statement on X, Noida Police said that "In reference to the mentioned case, an FIR has been registered at Police Station Sector 58, and legal action has been taken by the Police Station Sector 58 against the accused party."
