Viral Video Expose Shocking Punishment

The incident, which took place in August but only came to light recently, has sparked nationwide outrage over children’s safety in schools. According to reports, the young boy was punished simply for not completing his homework. His mother, Doli, revealed that her son had just joined the school and was still adjusting when he faced this traumatic treatment. She alleged that the principal, Reena, instructed the bus driver, Ajay, to carry out the punishment.

Instead of admitting fault, Principal Reena defended her actions, claiming the children had misbehaved with two girls and that she had already informed their parents. She said, "The students had misbehaved with two girls. I informed their parents before punishing them." Her justification has only added to public anger.

Social media erupted with furious reactions. One user wrote, “Seen such incidents, these are not punishments. She should be jailed.” Another remarked, “Teachers were very strict in our time too, but there is so much difference between the beating of that time and the beating of today that the teacher of this time is taking out their household tensions on the children.” Many also raised broader concerns about the declining state of public schools and child protection.

Police Move Swiftly Under Juvenile Justice Act

Acting swiftly, Panipat Police arrested both the principal and the driver. A case has been registered under the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015. Superintendent of Police Bhupendra Singh, IPS, personally oversaw the probe, visiting the school with forensic experts to collect evidence. Authorities have assured parents that strict action will follow against those responsible.

This shocking incident has once again highlighted the urgent need for stricter safeguards and accountability in schools, reminding everyone that discipline must never cross the line into abuse.
