PM Modi to Perform Dhwajarohan at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir on November 25; Entry Restrictions, Aarti Timings Announced
Ayodhya is preparing for a significant spiritual moment as Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits the Ram Mandir on November 25 to participate in the traditional Dhwajarohan ceremony . The event has been scheduled during the Abhijit Muhurat, a period believed to be linked to the birth of Lord Ram, adding special significance to the occasion.
Officials have pointed out that the ceremony coincides with Ram Vivah as per the Hindu calendar, drawing thousands of devotees to Ayodhya for the day’s rituals. PM Modi will take part in the celebrations, perform the ceremonial hoisting of the saffron flag, and review arrangements in and around the temple complex.
Ayodhya’s spiritual atmosphere has intensified in the days leading up to the event. Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee, said the Dhwajarohan is both a sacred celebration and a symbolic announcement that the temple’s construction is complete. He noted that it serves as a message to devotees around the world.
Ahead of his visit, PM Modi said that Lord Ram is the soul of India and expressed that it is a privilege to witness the formal hoisting atop the newly built temple.
To manage the large crowds and ensure security during the Prime Minister’s presence, temple authorities have issued clear guidelines. On November 25, entry into the Ram Mandir will be restricted from early morning until 2:30 pm. Only individuals with authorised QR-coded passes will be permitted inside. Visitors must obtain their darshan or aarti passes through the Trust’s official website, uploading valid identification before downloading the digital pass. Authorities have warned that bookings may be briefly paused around the main ceremony due to security reasons.
Daily rituals at the temple will continue as usual. Mangala Aarti begins at 4:30 am, followed by Shringaar Aarti at 6:30 am. Rajbhog Aarti is held at 11:30 am, Sandhya Aarti at 7:30 pm, and Shayan Aarti at 9:30 pm.
Officials have advised those planning to witness the celebrations to reach Ayodhya a day early to avoid congestion. Public transport and shuttle services are recommended, with travellers encouraged to carry minimal luggage. Real-time updates on crowd movement and access routes will be shared through official channels to help manage the heavy influx of devotees expected for this momentous day.
