Pune School Violence: Children Assaulted at Chatrabhuj Narsee School, Parents Call for Action
A shocking incident at Pune’s Chatrabhuj Narsee School in Amanora Park Town has left parents outraged and demanding answers. On September 26, 2025, a violent episode reportedly unfolded on the school’s football field involving a parent allegedly instructing her child to physically attack three young students, aged just 7 to 8.
Disturbing Allegations Surface
According to a detailed letter sent by concerned parents to the school management, the parent in question allegedly ordered her child to target three boys aged between 7 and 8. The child was instructed to twist their arms, slap, punch, and kick them while an accompanying adult believed to be a driver or bodyguard stood nearby filming the school grounds.
Witnesses described the event as horrifying. The young victims were reportedly left bruised and deeply traumatized, both physically and emotionally.
Verbal Abuse and Death Threats
The incident didn’t end with the physical assault. The parent allegedly used extreme profanity and made violent threats in full view of others present. According to the Laliga football coach, who witnessed the episode, the parent shouted:
“You are so f**** dead, I will break your teeth & bones, I will throw you where even your mother will not find you.”
Such threats left the children and nearby staff members shaken. Parents say the verbal abuse has caused lasting fear among the students who were present that day.
Breach of School Security and Privacy
Adding to parents’ outrage are allegations that the adult accompanying the parent had been entering the school premises repeatedly, filming students without authorization. This has sparked major concerns over lapses in campus security and violations of student privacy.
Parents also claimed that during the confrontation, the accused parent verbally abused school faculty, including the Principal, openly challenging the authority of staff responsible for ensuring student safety.
Parents Demand Strong Action
School Responds to Growing Concerns
On October 3, the school management sent a message to all parents confirming that the matter was being treated with utmost seriousness. The school said it had begun internal measures to ensure such incidents would not be repeated and requested parents to remain patient as the process unfolds.
However, many parents remain dissatisfied, citing the absence of a clear action plan or disciplinary outcome. Punekar News reported that despite multiple attempts to reach the school for comment, there has been no official statement. The Principal’s phone has reportedly been switched off since October 3.
Police Yet to Receive a Formal Complaint
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 5) Rajkumar Shinde confirmed that as of now, no FIR has been filed in the case because no formal complaint has been lodged by the school or the victims’ parents.
