Crime Hidden For Days

The incident took place on December 10 in Ghari Daulat village under the Kandhla police station area but remained undiscovered for several days. The shocking details came to light only on Tuesday evening, leaving the local community stunned.

How The Murders Allegedly Happened

Police identified the accused as Mohd Farukh. According to investigators, he allegedly shot his wife while she was preparing tea at home. Their 12-year-old daughter was also shot when she tried to intervene. The couple’s five-year-old daughter was reportedly strangled to death.

Bodies Buried Inside The House

After the killings, Farukh is said to have dug a pit inside the house and buried the bodies. Police stated that he continued to live normally in the same house for several days, which delayed suspicion and discovery of the crime.

During interrogation, Farukh allegedly confessed to the murders. Police said he claimed he became angry after his wife went out without wearing a hijab, which led to the violent act.

Following the discovery, members of the victim’s family staged a protest and attempted to confront the accused. Police intervened to control the situation and prevent further unrest.

Security Tightened, Probe Ongoing

Authorities have increased security in Ghari Daulat village and deployed additional police personnel. Further investigation is underway to piece together the sequence of events and gather forensic evidence.
