Chennai: Hours after Tamil Nadu governor R N Ravi took a dig at DMK's slogan that ‘TN will fight and win,' by questioning who will TN fight against, chief minister M K Stalin shot back saying the state will fight against communal fanatics, conspirators, upholders of Manu dharma and the governor.

"Tamil Nadu will fight against the arrogance that says funds for education will be released only if you accept Hindi. It will fight against the conspiracy that sneaks into educational institutions, replacing scientific temper with superstitions and mythical tales, dragging the younger generation a backwards by hundred years," Stalin tweeted. The sharp response was to Ravi's remarks earlier in the day, at 202nd birth anniversary celebration of saint Vallalar. Ravi said there were slogans written all over TN that ‘Tamil Nadu will fight, Tamil Nadu will win.'

Referring to this slogan of DMK, Ravi asked who was TN fighting against.

The governor said the slogans were an attempt to divide Tamils but people should remain united.

Without naming BJP, Stalin said TN would fight against the injustices meted out to it.

"It will fight against the crafty gang of communal fanatics who obstruct nation's progress. It will fight against the enemies of democracy who suppress govts elected by the people," Stalin said.

"TN will fight against those belittle Constitution and conspirators who threaten investors and divert investments to other states," he said. He said the state would fight against the ‘conspiracy' called delimitation and the malice of disregarding Keeladi's antiquity.

Hitting out at Ravi directly, Stalin said TN would fight against the governor too.

"It will also fight against the governor, who despite being rejected and sent away by the people of Nagaland, still refuses to mend his ways and works only to create confusion among the people of Tamil Nadu," he added.

Stalin said TN will also fight against the attempts to saffronize Thiruvalluvar.

Earlier, HR and CE minister P K Sekarbabu announced that on the lines of the international Murugan conference, an international Vallalar conference will be held in Chennai in Nov or Dec, this year.

Chennai: TN governor R N Ravi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was an ardent follower of Vallalar. "When I went to meet Modi in Delhi and spoke about Vallalar, Modi had informed me that he already knew about Vallalar and is practising all his principles. He is a practising San Marghi," he said. TNN
