CLAT 2025 Result: Petition filed in Supreme Court demanding stay on CLAT 2025 result..
There has been a demand to stay the CLAT 2025 result. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court in this regard. The petition filed alleges irregularities in the provisional answer key of CLAT. The petitioner said that the answers to 12 questions in the released provisional answer key had been given incorrectly. The final answer key is to be declared on December 9 and the result on December 10.
A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the provisional answer key for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 conducted for Law PG admission on December 1. The petitioners who appeared in the LLM entrance examination conducted by the National Law Universities claim that there were many mistakes in the provisional answer key released on December 2. It is alleged that 12 questions were marked incorrectly.
The petitioners also raised concerns about the limited time given to submit objections, as the portal for submitting objections was closed at 4 pm on December 3, just a day after the provisional key was released. At the same time, the candidates also allege that the fee of Rs 1000 per objection was unfair, while the examination fee of Rs 4,000 was already charged.
Allegation of not getting paper on time
The petitioners have also objected to the delay in the distribution of examination material. It is claimed that the question booklet (QB) sealed envelopes were provided after 2:00 pm despite the scheduled time of 1:50 pm. The final answer key is to be released on December 9 and the results are to be declared on December 10, on which a stay has been sought.
Candidates who are successful in the examination can get admission to 22 national law universities across the country. The exam for law UG and PG course admission was conducted on the same day, 1 December 2024. For more details regarding exams and admission, candidates can visit the official website of CLAT 2025.
