IB recruitment 2025: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) will close the application window tomorrow for the recruitment of 258 Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Tech (ACIO-II/Tech) positions. Applicants must also possess one of the listed educational qualifications. These include a B.E. or B.Tech. in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering. Alternatively, candidates may hold a Master’s degree in Science with Electronics, Computer Science or Electronics & Communication with Physics, or a Master’s degree in Computer Applications.
Age limit and salary structure
The prescribed age limit for the ACIO-II/Tech posts is 18 to 27 years. SC and ST applicants receive five years of relaxation in the upper age limit, while OBC candidates receive three years of relaxation. The post carries a Level 7 pay scale ranging from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400.
Selection procedure
Candidates will be shortlisted at a ratio of ten times the total vacancies based on their GATE scores. Shortlisted applicants will then be required to appear for a skill test followed by an interview.
