NEET PG 2025 revised counselling dates announced by MCC with Round 1 result scheduled for 20 Nov
NEET PG 2025 counselling : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a revised schedule for the NEET PG 2025 counselling process for the 50% All India Quota seats and 100% seats in deemed and central universities. The updated timeline includes fresh dates for registration, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting across all four rounds.
As per the revised plan, the choice filling and choice locking for Round 1 will begin on November 17, 2025, with the Round 1 seat allotment result scheduled for November 20, 2025. All counselling activities will take place online through the official portal, mcc.nic.in.

MCC has detailed the complete workflow for Round 1, beginning with verification of the tentative seat matrix and ending with institutional verification of joined candidates. Candidates included in the NEET PG 2025 merit list will be eligible to participate.

MCC has also released the updated dates for Round 2. The registration, payment and choice-filling procedures will be held over five days. The result for Round 2 will be released on December 10, 2025, followed by a week-long reporting window for selected candidates.

The Round 3 process will begin with verification of the provisional seat matrix on December 22, 2025. Registration and payment will remain open until December 28, 2025. The seat allotment result for Round 3 will be released on December 31, 2025.

The online stray vacancy round will be the final stage of the NEET PG 2025 counselling process. MCC has set separate dates for matrix verification, choice filling and allotment processing. The result will be released on January 21, 2026, with reporting scheduled until January 31, 2026.

Counselling rescheduled after delays
The revised dates follow earlier delays caused by pending approvals of the seat matrix and clarifications required from the National Medical Commission.
