According to Anirudh, Rajinikanth usually doesn’t listen to songs before filming them. This was the case with “Chikitu” too, the actor listened to “Chikitu” for the very first time on the day of the shoot itself.

He told Anirudh that he liked the song, but he found it difficult to dance to. He shared that the dance style was a little tough for him because, in his words, he has a rugged and older kind of dance energy now.
