Exclusive: Sathish Ninasam's next is about love and war, set in the 70s
Actor Sathish Ninasam will sport four different looks in Ashoka Blade, the muhurtha of which will be held today.
The film, which marks the directorial debut of Vinod V Dondalay in Sandalwood, spans nearly 50 years, starting from the 70s, and is set in Chamarajanagar and Nanjangud .
Sathish says, “The story is penned by T K Dayanand who has used true incidents as the core. Historical war sequences, a first for me, will be a visual treat. The team is doing a recce to zero in on properties to give it a realistic touch.”
As for his role, Sathish says: “I play a person who fights for the rights of a particular community and creates a revolution, similar to the Tamil movie, Asuran. I will portray four versatile looks, including that of a 70-year-old. “
The film, which also has a love story, is to be made on a grand scale and the team is already erecting humungous sets for shooting which will begin next month.
Kavya Shetty will be seen in a special role in the film. Lavith is the cinematographer and Poornachandra Tejaswi is composing the music.
