Lauren Pisciotta, who is Kanye West's former assistant, has made more serious accusations. The rapper is accused by Pisciotta of numerous cases of sexual assault, coercion, false imprisonment, and sex trafficking during her employment from which was from July 2021 to October 2022 in a revised lawsuit filed on July 8, 2025.

Timeline of allegations and escalationAccording to The Hollywood Reporter and other outlets including People, Page Six, and HuffPost, the amended complaint details explicit claims of abuse. Pisciotta alleges that West forced her into sexual situations, including non-consensual oral sex and inappropriate touching, while also promising career advancement in exchange for compliance. The lawsuit also includes disturbing accusations of drugging, stalking, and emotional abuse.

The legal case began in June 2024 with a lawsuit citing sexual harassment, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and unpaid wages. However, Pisciotta's legal team escalated the case in late 2024 by claiming West drugged her at a Los Angeles studio session co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs. The latest amendment in July 2025 introduces the most serious accusations yet, including oral rape, sex trafficking, and psychological coercion.

The lawsuit claims Pisciotta was often isolated, controlled, and threatened by West. She accuses him of locking her in rooms, pressuring her to wear revealing clothing, and coercing her to observe or participate in sexual acts involving other women. Pisciotta further alleges West stalked her after their professional relationship ended, moving into her apartment complex and later driving her to Florida under duress.

West’s legal team respondsIn response to the lawsuit, Kanye West’s legal team has denied all allegations, labeling the case as “extortion” and “blackmail.” They claim Pisciotta is attempting to damage West’s reputation for financial gain and attention. A spokesperson told Page Six that the lawsuit is “a fabricated narrative designed to manipulate public perception and the legal system.”

Despite the denials, Pisciotta is seeking a jury trial and requesting damages for emotional distress, loss of income, and punitive compensation. The case adds to a growing list of lawsuits filed against high-profile men in the entertainment industry, echoing similar claims made against Sean Combs and other celebrities.

Broader context and industry impactThe revised lawsuit adds to the growing list of lawsuits being tested in the music industry, especially in relation to workplace harassment, abuse of power, and female exploitation in lower powered situations. Legal experts believe sexual trafficking charges could add more interest in investigation, and maybe, if prosecutors chose, charges. The former Kanye West is walking away with one of the biggest situations regarding the law he’s ever faced. In the last couple of years, he encountered multiple issues from antisemitism to some wild business ideas. A potentially developing lawsuit, based on sexual harassment, may turn into significant financial and reputational repercussions as the case goes through the motions of the legal system.
