Khatron Ke Khiladi 13: Contestant Shiv Thakare Suffers Injury On Set

In the latest episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 , challenger Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya sets the stage with yet another thrilling challenge. Host Rohit Shetty announces that Shiv Thakare and Arjit Taneja face their final opportunity to conquer their fears, or else they'll be pitted against Nyrraa Banerji and Soundous Moufakir in an elimination stunt.
Next, Rohit Shetty proceeds to introduce the daring stunt for the day. The Khiladi will be suspended from a net connected to a helicopter, tasked with retrieving five flags attached to the net and a ladder. Once all the flags are collected, they must take a daring plunge into the water to complete the challenge. Since it's the challengers' week, Divyanka will take the lead and set the benchmark for the Khiladis to follow.
Rohit then proceeds to announce that the upcoming stunt will be tackled by Shiv and Arjit. Divyanka takes the stage first, attempting the challenge and successfully retrieving four flags. Unfortunately, one flag slips into the water.
Following Divyanka, it's Shiv's turn. The stunt proves to be quite a formidable task for him, but he valiantly manages to collect four out of the five flags. As Shiv emerges from the water, he reveals a painful injury – a deep cut on his hand sustained during the stunt. The injury is so severe that Shiv requires seven stitches on his finger.
Arjit also manages to exceed Divyanka's target by collecting four flags during his turn. As the stunt concludes, Rohit Shetty informs the participants that Shiv has sustained an injury and is currently under the care of medical professionals. Despite the injuries, both Shiv and Arjit have successfully conquered the challenge, surpassing Divyanka's performance. Consequently, they have their fear fandas removed.
Rohit then announces that the elimination stunt will take place between Nyrra and Soundous.
Just before Soundous is about to begin the elimination stunt, Rohit Shetty calls Shiv aside to discuss his injury. Shiv jokes, "They told me that aapki jo challenger aayi thi usse khoon bahake hi beat karna padta hai waise nahi ho pata." (You have to bleed a little to beat the challenger who has come, or else it is not possible to win.)
