'Kitne Paise Chahiye Tereko?': Sunny Deol Loses Cool at Dharmendra's Asthi Visarjan, Confronts Paparazzi Filming Ritual

Sunny Deol , who has been mourning the loss of his father Dharmendra , found himself in an uncomfortable situation on Wednesday when a paparazzi attempted to film the family’s private asthi visarjan ritual in Haridwar. A video circulating online shows the actor visibly upset as he walks toward the cameraman, snatches the device, and questions him sharply.
“Paisa chahiye? Kitne paise chahiye tere ko?” Sunny is heard saying, clearly distressed by the intrusion.

This is not the first time the actor has expressed displeasure at media behaviour. Earlier, when photographers gathered outside his Juhu home during Dharmendra’s return from the hospital, Sunny had lashed out, saying,

“Aap ke ghar mein maa-baap hai, bachche hai. Chu**** ki tarah video bheje ja rahe ho. Sharam nahi aati? (Don’t you have mothers and fathers at home? Don’t you feel any shame?)"

Remembering Dharmendra

Dharmendra passed away on November 24 after health complications that led to hospitalisation at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. Though he was initially discharged, reports suggested he had been placed on a ventilator due to breathing issues. Despite moments of improvement, the legendary actor breathed his last on the same day. His final rites, held soon after, saw the presence of numerous Bollywood icons, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan.

Family Performs Final Rites in Haridwar

On Wednesday, Sunny and Bobby Deol travelled to Haridwar to immerse their father’s ashes in the Ganga. Heartfelt videos from the ceremony show the family dressed in white, emotional yet composed, embracing each other after completing the ritual.

The families arrived at Pilibhit House, where Dharmendra’s ashes had been kept, and performed the asthi visarjan before quietly departing for the airport. The intimate moment, meant to be personal, was overshadowed briefly by the unwelcome presence of the paparazzi something Sunny reacted to instinctively while grieving.
