Namrata Shirodkar cheers for Priyanka Chopra's performance in 'Heads of State' ahead of 'SSMB29' collaboration with Mahesh Babu
Priyanka Chopra is making her return to Indian cinema in a grand fashion with 'Baahubali' and 'RRR' director SS Rajamouli starring alongside Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu for the tentatively named ' SSMB29 '. Recently, the wife of her co-star and former actress Namrata Shirodkar , gave a shout-out to Priyanka Chopra on her social media handle.
Priyanka, who recently appeared in the high-octane American action flick ' Heads of State ', alongside John Cena and Idris Elba, received a glowing review from Namrata Shirodkar herself. Taking to Instagram Stories, Namrata praised the ' Citadel ' star for her performance. "You were absolutely amazing @priyankachopra! Totally rocked it! Loved the movie @johncena @idriselba #HeadsOfState," she wrote, tagging the global icon and other cast members.
The warm review didn't go unnoticed. PC re-shared Namrata's story on her own Instagram profile and responded with equal affection, writing, "Thank you queen Xx @namratashirodkar."
Speaking of 'SSMB29', directed by SS Rajamouli, who catapulted to global fame with his cinema and vision, the film is expected to be a massive pan-India and international project, and is described as a grand globe-trotting jungle adventure.
The film seems to be taking inspiration from Hollywood series, 'Indian Jones' and will also add a touch of Hindu mythology, with Mahesh Babu's character seems to be taking a resemblance from Lord Hanuman. Earlier, the 'Guntur Kaaram' actor was spotted in a muscular look with a thick beard and long hair.
The film will also feature Prithviraj Sukumaran and is likely to be seen as the main antagonist.
The film is in production with shooting locations including Odisha and Hyderabad. It is said to be one of the most expensive and ambitious Indian films ever made, which is likely to be around Rs 1000 crore. The story is being developed by SS Rajamouli along with his father, V. Vijayendra Prasad.
