Quoting Tyagi, Ghai told film journalist Vivek Lalwani: “Parag said that her pulse was still on, her eyes were not opening, and she just had dead weight to her body,” Alarmed, he rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri. Sadly, she was declared dead on arrival.
“He realised something was definitely wrong and took her to the hospital, but apparently when she was brought to the hospital, she was already dead,” Ghai further said.
The post-mortem was conducted at R N Cooper Hospital, Juhu. Preliminary findings pointed to a possible cardiac arrest. Medical and police sources suggest the collapse may have been triggered by low blood pressure, potentially caused by prolonged fasting combined with medication on an empty stomach.
