Actor Shine Tom Chacko has issued a public apology to actress Vincy Aloshious following allegations that he behaved inappropriately with her during the shoot of ' Soothravakyam ' while under the influence of alcohol.
The controversy, which had created a stir in the Malayalam film industry , was addressed during a press conference organized as part of the film's promotional campaign, marking the first time the two appeared together publicly since the issue surfaced.
Shine offers an apology, saying the remarks were not intentional.
As reported by Asianet News, Shine stated, “If anything I did caused trouble, I sincerely apologize.” He maintained that his actions were not intentional and that some of his remarks may have been misconstrued, as they were made in jest.

Vincy reveals she had no intention to harm Shine’s family. Vincy said during the media interaction that she was compelled to speak up because the issue involved someone who she once admired and respected. This, according to her, made it more shocking.
During the media interaction, Vincy expressed that her intention was not to malign Shine’s family. The actress also conveyed her regret over any unintended impact her revelation may have had on them.
The incident and aftermath
The issue came to light when Vincy publicly revealed that a co-actor had taken drugs and misbehaved with her during the filming of Soothravakyam. The actress had not initially named the individual. She also made it clear that she would not pursue legal action.
Soon after, Shine Tom Chacko’s name was leaked in connection to the allegations. Vincy had formally filed a complaint with the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) on April 16.
The internal committee’s intervention reportedly came only after the matter drew widespread attention and media scrutiny. However, during the recent press conference, both Shine and Vincy confirmed that they had spoken in private and resolved the issue amicably.
