Kpop girl group TWICE made their official comeback on July 11 with their fourth full-length album ‘This Is For’ and a title song with the same name. While the group’s new and pumped-up music was met with a lot of love and praise from netizens , many still noticed major issues in the music video.

Jeongyeon ’s body edited?
There is a point in the music video where the members one by one come in front of the screen for solo shots. Jeongyeon’s shot was well celebrated, as the idol was seen wearing a cropped shirt for the first time in years.

The idol has always struggled with weight-related issues, and hence has avoided such clothing. Fans had been celebrating that the idol must be feeling more confident in her body to wear such clothing from now on, however the happiness was shortlived.

The group also shared short informal clips of them dancing on the sets of the music video on their social media platforms. In one of these clips, where Jeongyeon is wearing the same clothes as the music video, fans and netizens could notice a visible difference between the way the popstar looked in the music video vs how she looked in the online dancing clip.

As soon as people realised that the idol's waist had been edited, they took to online platforms and fan forums in order to express their opinions on the matter. Many called out her management agency for pulling a move like that. Many fans also shared that there was no requirement for the idol’s body to be edited this much.

Many netizens even pointed out that this is not the first time that TWICE’s management agency has treated Jeongyeon in such a way. The singer’s body was also previously edited for another one of their music videos titled ‘One Spark ’, where the difference was noted by fans due to how different she looked in the same outfit from the video compared to on live.
