Unleashing the Beast: Rajkummar Rao's Maalik Trailer Reveals a Darker Side

Maalik’s trailer, an action thriller crime drama, has released finally—giving us a peek into Rajkummar Rao’s deadliest avatar yet. Tips Films and Northern Lights Films are behind the movie, which promises a spine-tingling film experience set against the backdrop of 1980s Allahabad.

Rajkummar Rao Like Never Before
In Maalik, Rajkummar Rao is a merciless gangster who navigates through a cruel world driven by power, greed, and survival. With his rough-hewn look and brooding presence on-screen, Rajkummar commands every frame with a performance that is raw and permanent.

“This is the first experience for me to play such a raw role,” said Rajkummar. “Playing a complex, savage gangster was thrilling and demanding too. I am impatient to wait for the audience to watch the raw world we have made.”

The New Realm Of Manushi Chhillar
Sharing screen space with Rajkummar is Manushi Chhillar, who plays the lead role in the film. “Maalik is very close to my heart,” she disclosed. “It gave me a chance to play a part I’ve never done before. It has been an exhilarating experience, and I hope the audience likes it.”

Pulkit Makes His Theatrical Debut as Director
Directed by Pulkit, who is best known for his tearjerkers, Maalik is his theatrical debut. “We’ve put our hearts into the story,” said Pulkit. “It’s a strong story of ambition, loyalty, and betrayal, and I hope people find it as interesting as we did.”
